Louise M. Isbell, age 86, of Tuscumbia, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Jeff Winters officiating. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Isbell was a native of Lawrence County, Ala., but lived most of her life in Colbert County and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Isbell; parents, Zeke and Buford McGregor; daughter, Carolyn Uhlman; brothers, Clyde and Stanley McGregor; and sister, Kathleen Isbell.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Isbell and wife, Shiela, Tim Isbell and wife, Annette, and Kimmy Dale Isbell and wife, Melissa; daughter, Patricia Fretwell and husband, Edwin; son-in-law, Howard Uhlman; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are grandsons, Tony Fretwell, Dion Uhlman, Cameron, Justin, Brandon, Scott and Kasey Isbell, Justin Stegall and Jake Chaney.
The family expresses special thanks to the staffs of the Cottage of the Shoals and Amedysis Hospice.
