Loud Report Has Been Heard At The Scene Of The Shooting

MUSCLE SHOALS– UPDATE A loud report was heard from the direction of the apartment where the shooter is barricaded.  It has not been determined as to what caused the report.

At around 10 minutes after 3 pm it appears some of the support law enforcement have been/and are leaving the scene.

It has been reported by other news media that shortly after the loud report officers entered the shooting suspect’s apartment.  There has been no confirmation of the result of this report

After the loud report indications are the crisis may be resolved.  As of 3:34 pm members of the Florence SWAT Team are packing their gear  and reading to leave the scene.
