Lou Aline Cameron Kennedy, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2023.
Aline was born on November 19th, 1934, in Mt. Hope, Alabama. She was raised on the family farm in the house where her father was born. She was known for her kindness, athleticism, honesty, quick wit and humor and zest for life. She had a deep respect for God and spent her life honoring and loving Him and her family.
She retired from IBM in 1992 where she worked in the Classified Business Area. She held a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
Aline will be lovingly missed by her husband of 58 years, Jim of Houston, Texas, sons Rick Kennedy of Harwood, Maryland, Patrick Kennedy of Seabrook, Texas, granddaughter Riley Kennedy of Waco, Texas, sisters Wanda Flemings, Dorothy Harville and her husband Dyle all of Mount Hope, Alabama.
Aline was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Lillian Cameron, brother Claude Cameron Jr. and his wife (Little) Nadine and sister (Big) Nadine Cameron all of Mt. Hope Alabama.
The funeral will be held in her home state of Alabama at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home in Athens, Alabama at 10:00 AM on January 13, 2024.
