Lota D. Dean, age 99, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, died, Friday, February 7, 2014. The visitation will be Monday, February 10th from 10-11:00a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Ed White will be officiating. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 11:00a.m. Burial will be in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was a native of Florence, Alabama and a member of Valdosta Church of Christ, and a past member of Helen Keller Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar H. Dean and sons Jimmy D. and Howell C. Dean.
Survivors include her son Thomas Ray Dean and wife Judy, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
