Lorna Annette Hall, age 65 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Highpoint Health Medical Center. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Huntland on March 22, 1961, to the late James Howard and Mildred Ethelene (Scott) Morris. Before her retirement, she worked at Decherd BP Station. She had previously worked at Lee Jean Company, TKA, Calsonic, and Baskin Robbins, where she was a baker and cake decorator. Lorna made wonderful coconut cakes and cupcakes and enjoyed crafting and woodworking, as well as fishing. A devoted Christian, she was a member of FAC. Described as “amazing” by her granddaughter, Lorna’s selfless nature and great sense of humor will be missed by her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Morris, Wayne Pruitt, and infant David Morris; brothers-in-law, Donnie Jones and Jerry Miller; and four-legged best friend, Lacey. Lorna is survived by her husband of twenty-one years, Clay Hall; children, Tiffany Hone, and Charles (Abigail) Morris; grandchildren, Tia (Zachary) Staggs, Ethan (Maycee) Temple, Eli Baker, Addison Morris, and Luca Morris; great-grandchildren on the way, Barrett Temple; siblings, Clara (Tommy) Moss, Doris Miller, Beverly Jones (Arnold Perkins), Kathy (Bruce) Reasons, Dennis (Diane) Morris, and Mary Hannah; close friends, David Bohanan and Mary Brewer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 20, 2026, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
