Lorine Vinson age 92 of Toney, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Vinson was born October 2, 1921 in Limestone County, AL to Roy Norton and Della Roper Norton.
Services will be Sunday, April 13, 2014 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Kim Harbin officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnson Bernard Vinson; sister, Dell Gill.
Survived by three daughters, Jeanette Newby, Linda Leopard and husband, Martin and Dianne Davis and husband, Morris; six grandchildren, Johnny Woodard, Stan Leopard, Jill Duke Scott Davis, David Davis and Lane Leopard; seven great-grandchildren, Gabel Duke, Bryson Leopard, Josie Duke, Seth Leopard, Ben Leopard, Bailey Davis and Addison Smith; one sister, Peggy Nevels.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Woodard, Stan Leopard, Scott Davis, David Davis, Lane Leopard, Gabel Duke, Bryson Leopard and Chris Duke. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Leopard and Ben Leopard.
The family is thankful for the love and care of our mother from the staff of Amedysis Hospice of Florence.
