Lori L. Wood passed away on April 29, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 64 years, 7 months and 20 days. Lori was born on September 9, 1958, in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Northside High School in 1976. Lori and her husband Jackie Wood were married in July 3, 1985. Lori loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved cooking, celebrating holidays, music, going to concerts, and spoiling her third son, Toby Wayne (the dog). She was a Christian in faith and was baptized at Darden Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband of 37 years- Jackie Wood; her mother- Judy O’Doherty; sons- Eric Wood (Brittany) and Christopher Kennon; daughter- Cheryl Spencer; daughter in law-Stephanie Wood Crouse; five grandchildren- Brody, Katlynn (Connor), Kristen, Logan (Ellen), and CJ; as well as five great grandchildren; two sisters- Rhonda Knolton Birmingham (William) and Dana Kieck (Doug); one brother- Bryan Seech (Susan); two nephews- Corey and Tyler; three nieces -Shawn, Alisha and Morgan; and two brothers in law- Barry Wood (Sherry) and Tim Wood (Jennifer). Lori was preceded in death by her brothers- John Seech and Jim Seech-Callahan.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 9 – 11 AM.
