David Elisha Ludlum, Jr. 74 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Ludlum was born on February 11th, 1949, in Ruskin, Florida, to David Elisha Ludlum, Sr. and Annie Lou Thrower Ludlum.
Mr. Ludlum is survived by his wife Dianne Ludlum; daughter Melissa Henry (Darrell); son Matthew Ludlum; grandchildren Seth Henry, Eli Henry, and Kathleen “Kit Kat” Henry; brothers Robbie Ludlum (Phyllis) and Billy Ludlum (Brenda); sister Jackie White (Jay); sister-in-law Sara Ludlum; and brothers-in-law Ricky O’Barr and Darrell Rogers.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Joe Ludlum; and sisters Helen O’Barr, Deloris Taunton, and Peggy Rogers.
A celebration of life for Mr. Ludlum will be Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at 1:00pm at Clements Baptist Church, with Tim Anderson officiating.
Mr. Ludlum was a die-hard Alabama Football fan. He dearly loved his grandchildren.
