lolaLola Mae Aycock Hamilton, 84, Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Russellville Health Care.

Mother worked part-time at James Department Store and Tot-n-Teen in Russellville for many years. She was a member of Tharptown Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending gospel singings, shopping, and canning & freezing vegetables from her garden.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Tharptown Baptist Church. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Eddie Wix and Bro. Josh Miller. Burial will follow at Tharptown Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia DeFoor (husband, Jimmy); son-in-law, Jimmy Looney; special companion, Coolidge Hatton; grandchildren, Angelia (Brian) Campbell, Mechelle Looney, Kristal (Brent) Enchiff, Josh (Lauren) DeFoor, Lori (Chris) Parrish; great-grandchildren, Anbria Campbell, Brennan Campbell, Laney Enchiff, Bristol Parrish, Parker Enchiff; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Hamilton; daughter, Linda Looney; parents, William & Ruth Aycock; and brother, Billy Aycock.

The pallbearers will be Jerry Aycock, Jerry Hamilton, Brent Enchiff, Brian Campbell, Josh DeFoor, and Chris Parrish. The honorary pallbearers will be Charles Fisher, Dean Fisher, Kenneth Hamilton, Tommy Warhurst, and Bruce James.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Beth Shelton, Peggy Hester, Fay Baker, Annie Sue Long, Brenda Pounders, Jane Harbin, Deb Smith, Country Cottage of Russellville, and Russellville Healthcare. All of you helped me to take care of mother, but you also became part of our family.
