Lois Pisani passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 30th, 2016 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life, Raymond. They were married 63 years.
Lois was born in New York City, NY on April 10th, 1921 and attended the first Macy’s Day Parade three and a half years later. She attended Temple University where she met her husband Ray. She later graduated from Athens State University and taught in the Decatur City school system.
Lois was a lifelong learner and traveler. She enjoyed and was a past member of MARS Ballroom Dance Club, Cotillion Dance Club, Whitesburg Boat and Yacht Club, Great Books Club, and French Club. She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons: Paul (Kathy) of Palmyra, NJ, Philip (Gail) of Arley, AL, and Mike (Sammye) of New Orleans, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Per her wishes, a private family service will be held.
