Lois Alton Stonecipher, 91, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 11 am- 12 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 12 p.m. in the chapel. Andy Hughes will be officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia, AL. He was a member of Hook Street Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Lula Stonecipher; brother and sisters, Jennie Faye King, Hazel Pate, Mary V. Jones, Leo Stonecipher, Lester Stonecipher, Louie Stonecipher, Ida Mae Michaels, and Leona Willis.
He is survived by his son, Darrell Christopher Stonecipher; daughters, Cheryl Kaye Crosby (Donny) and Cynthia Lynn Stonecipher; brother, Lile Stonecipher; sister, Lula Mae Pounders; grandchildren, Chad Lewis Crosby (Heather); great grandchildren, Waylon Lewis Crosby and Cash Lucas Crosby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chad Crosby, Mark Congleton, Gary Carmack, David Pounders, Mark Pounders, Dewayne Stonecipher, and Terry Stonecipher.
