  Linda Wilemon Johnson, 73, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the Red Bay hospital. She was born November 5, 1951 to the late Freeman Wilemon and the late Christine Gentry Wilemon in Tupelo. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, and dedication. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—tending her garden, cooking delicious meals for those she loved, and surrounding herself with the beauty of flowers. Her home was always warm and welcoming, a reflection of her nurturing spirit and generous heart. More than anything, Linda cherished her family. She took pride in caring for them, offering unwavering support, wisdom, and affection. Her strength and grace touched all who knew her.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday May 9, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church wit Bro. Jackie Gray, and Bro. Tim Holsonback officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday May 8, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle Johnson; daughter, Kelly Johnson Ozbirn of Golden; grandchildren, Peyton Tackett of Florence, AL, and Lea Ozbirn of Red Bay; sisters, Dianne (Carl) Gaddy of Fulton, and Sherry (Jimmy) Cromeans of Fulton; brother in law, James (Ginger) Johnson of Searcy, AR; sisters in law, Marie Johnson of Fulton, and Sue Johnson of Golden.
She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Wayne Johnson, and her parents, Freeman and Christine Wilemon.
