Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Welch Coffman, age 74, are scheduled for 2 PM, Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Coffman passed away early Monday at her home in Cedar Grove. She was born August 18, 1946 in Cedar Grove to the late George Travis and Lois Marie Ivy Welch. She was a former Decaturville Sportswear employee and secretary for Reserve National Insurance Company. Mrs. Coffman was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Doyle Dean Coffman and one son, Derek Coffman. Survivors include her three sons, Keith Coffman (Janelle), Jeff Coffman (Kayla), and Wesley Coffman (Shirley); eight grandchildren, Heather Ray (Andy), Jeremy Coffman (Kristin), Holly King (Jon), Michael Coffman, Jennifer Coffman, Jessica Gunstanon (Joe), David Little, and Whitney Heimeyer (DJ); fifteen great grandchildren; and her cousin, Brenda Walls (Tommy). The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 – 9 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington and on Thursday from 10 AM until time of service at 2 PM at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.
