Linda Lou Hargett Hughes, age 86, of Russellville, Alabama, died on November 25, 2024. She was a member of Belgreen Church of Christ, prior to being a member of Five Point Church of Christ for many years. She worked in the Franklin County School System at Belgreen High School for over 25 years as the manager of the cafeteria.
Linda was preceded in death by an infant son, Gilly Morris Hughes; parents, Theo & Roena Hargett; sister, Jewel Holcomb; brother, Glenn Hargett.
She is survived by her husband, Roe Hughes; daughter, Charlotte Hughes Ray; two step-children, Amber Ray Thompson (Seth), and Blake Ray (Talea). Great grandchildren, Sydney Thompson, Carter Thompson, Hadley Ray, Ava Ray; Brothers, Jack Hargett (Bonnie), Jimmy Hargett (Frances); sister, Brenda Bragwell; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
Mrs. Hughes service will be Wednesday, November 27 2024 at 11 AM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, with George Hutto officiating. Burial will be at Dempsey Cemetery in Belgreen.
Pinkard Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
