Funeral services for Ms. Linda Hays, age 77, are scheduled for 4:00pm Sunday, March 17,2024 at Central Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in Central Grove Cemetery. Ms. Hays passed away Thursday in Jackson, Tn. She was a member of Central Grove Baptist Church and retired from Johnson Controls. She was born in Henderson County, Tn. to the late Samuel Troy and Maxine Hayes Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband- Dorsey Hays, two brothers- Jerry Wood and Larry Wood and sister- Sharon Woods. Survivors include- two sons- Ritchie Hays and Brian Hays, four brothers- Sam Wood (Amy), John Wood (Etta), Tim Wood and Rick Wood, two sisters- Martha Bobbitt (James) and Louise Hays (Tom), three grandchildren- Kersten Springer (Sean), Dakota Hays and Gracie Hays, four great grandchildren- Drake Baker, Lilliana Springer, Brooklyn Springer and Jared David Hays “JD”: Visitation will begin Saturday 2:00pm till time of service on Sunday at 4pm.
