Linda Dianne Donahue Kenney,75, of Cherokee, AL. departed this earth on April 7, 2024. She was born on April 22, 1948 in Hartsville, S.C. to Labon (LC) Donahue and Laura Ann (Polly) Smith Donahue.
Leaving behind to cherish her memory, Husband Daniel Kenney.
Daughters: Kyme Smith, Shannon Hamilton Sumerel (Michael), Saundra Montgomery (Jason).
Grandchildren: Maggie Adams (Justin), Asia Hester (Katherine), Matt Foster (Amber), Colt Hester, Nichole Sumerel, Hanna Kikta, Abby Kikta, Jaden Bretherick.
Great Grandson: Nash Adams.
Sisters: Donna Hardin, Kay Livingston (Dixon), Pattie Bendall (Stephen), Pam Rea (Bucky), Candice Bretherick.
Brother & Sister-In-Law: Rex & Linda Brooks.
Linda Dianne received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Alabama. She retired from Saralee’s – Jimmy Dean Foods. She was an outdoor enthusiast who loved animals especially all of her many dogs and cats, as well as one special Red Tailed Hawk named Cherokee.
She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, April 13, 2024 with a service to follow at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valley Grove Baptist Church and/or a No Kill Animal Shelter of your choice.
