Linda Clement Thomason was born in Portageville, Missouri on November 16, 1947, the daughter of the late Gene Clement and Christine Evelyn Vinson Clement Stegall. Her childhood was spent there before moving to St. Louis as a young teenager. Even though she occasionally strayed to places such as Michigan and California, taking up residence there for brief periods of time, she always returned to St. Louis.
Linda utilized her sense of design and fashion to her advantage, spending most of her working years as a store manager for high-end retail clothing establishments. That love of design influenced not only her career choices but her hobbies as well, leading her to antique stores and garage sales where her eye for pieces of value almost always paid off. An arts and crafts person, she enjoyed refinishing furniture and decorating in general. When her health permitted you could find her on the water either skiing, fishing, or boating. Her dogs and her cats kept her company at home, with her favorite being her last cat, Garbo.
Linda left this life on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 11 days. She leaves her devoted brother Stephen Dale Clement of St. Louis, Missouri as well as her brother Marty Wayne Clement, a niece, Krista Wikgren and a nephew, Stephen Michael Clement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Causbie and Vester Clement.
