Mrs. Linda C. Phillips, age 66 of Delta, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at her home. No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Phillips was born in Anniston, was a graduate of Heflin High School, and had lived in Clay County for nearly 50 years. She worked most of her life as a stay at home mother to her two children, and also worked for 17 years as a cashier at Doller General. She enjoyed reading, baking delicious cakes and meals for her family and friends, and enjoyed helping other people. She was a little firecracker and thoroughly loved by her husband, children, grandchildren, and many friends and family. Mrs. Phillips was also a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband of 43 years, Nathan Phillips of Delta; her daughter, Amanda Farrow (Tim) of Cragford; her son, Jesse Phillips (Haley) of Oxford; 6 grandchildren: Dawson and Mason Smith, Madison and Allison Farrow, and Shaddom and Victoria Phillips; two sisters: Jan Earnest (Blake) of Montgomery and Brenda McFry (B0) of Heflin; two brothers: Buddy Yates (Pat) of Cleburne, TX and Richard Yates of Pensacola, FL, plus a large extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Hoyt Grissom and Francis Luker Yates; and her son, Nathan William Phillips Jr.
