Services for Mrs. Lillie Merle Buford, age 93, will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 4, 2022 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Maury City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9 AM until service time.
Mrs. Buford, a retired employee of Porter Cable and member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Issac Marion Buford; and three sons, Gary Hensley, Harry Hensley and David Hensley.
Mrs. Buford is survived by a daughter Betty Ferra (Luis) of Miami, FL; a son, Charles Cowan (Pat) of Alamo; twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way.
