Mrs. Karen Sue Brewer, age 66, of Cordova passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at her residence. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM Friday, February 4, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Smith; mother, Nelda Decatur; stepfather, Sonny Decatur; and sister, Edna Tidwell.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Brewer of Cordova; sister, Billie Chapman of Cordova; brother, James Smith Kennedy of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Christie Robinson of Oakman; son, Joseph Wayne Brewer (Anna) of Tacoma, WA; granddaughter, Amber Perkins (Shawn) of Oakman and Mary Robinson of Jasper; grandson, Hayden Martin (Brittney) of Cordova; great grandchildren, Zach Perkins, Tristyn Perkins, Aiden Wright, Grayson Wright and Owen Martin; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
