Lillian Lorene Cosby, age 67 of Cherokee, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015. Her visitation will be Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jackie Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Odie and Icebell Farris and her son, Lee Cosby.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Buddy Cosby; son, Larry Dale Cosby (Donna); daughters, Judy Sutton, Kay Cosby Lambert, Martha Poore, and Kathy Creasy; brother, Gene Farris (Sandy); sister, Clarabell West; and sixteen grandkids and 16 great-grandkids.
Pallbearers will be John Pounders, Dee Payne, Anthony Allred, Chris West, Nathan Allen and Joshua Singleton. Calvin Poore and Lee Roy Cosby will serve as honorary pallbearers.
