Lila Reese Gilliland, age 88 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. J.D. Dickerson will officiate.
Mrs. Gilliland was preceded in death by her Husband-Dadie S. Gilliland; Father-Author Sanford; Mother-Clara Sanford; Brother-Herbert Sandford; Sister-Merdith Johnson; Granddaughter-Amanda Gilliland Kilgore.
She is survived by her Daughter-Sheila Hayes of Hoover; Sons-Rocky Gilliland, Johnny Gilliland and Randy Gilliland of Jasper; 8 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
