Johnnie Clarence Certain, 82, of Brownsboro, passed away Friday, April 30.
Mr. Certain was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from Roadway Express.
Johnnie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sarah Margaret Certain; daughter, Debbie Certain Stiles (James); son, James H. Certain (Lyn); and his siblings, Sarah Congo and Kathy Lyon. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Florence Certain; daughter, Marjorie Certain; brothers, Dannie Certain, Thomas Certain, Bobby Certain, and Jackie Byrd; and his sister, Peggy Maroney.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 2 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at New Salem Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow directly after with Reverend Mike Shaneyfelt officiating. Interment will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
