Lida “Carol” Hartzog , of Decatur, who died April 14, 2016, at her residence, was born June 3, 1962 to James Edwards and Linnie Lou Worley Edwards in Alabama.
She is survived by her husband Michael Hartzog; son Jeff Smith (Emily) of Hartselle; sister Mary Walden of Albertville; four brothers Wayne Edwards, Bobby Edwards, David Edwards and Johnny Edwards all of Albertville; two grandchildren Addison Chaney and Lillie Smith; two stepdaughters Stephanie Cook and Jennifer Herring both of Decatur.
The family will be announcing a celebration of life service at a later date.
