Lewis Franklin Page, age 86, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Lewis was born in Lousia, Kentucky, to Georgina Delong Page and Charles Brumley Page.
After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served from October 29, 1959, until December 31, 1981, where he retired as an E8. During his service he traveled the world and served three tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the Army, Lewis joined the civil service as a Technology Writer and Instructor for the Pershing Missile Program. When retiring from civil service, he received recognition for 42 years and three months of service to the United States Army.
Lewis loved to cook for family and friends and was known for his quick wit and love of poodles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Brumley Page, mother and stepfather, Georgina Smith and George Smith, and his daughter Sheila Martin.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Regina Campbell Page; daughters, Cheri Ganeous, Terri Clark, and Leslie Martin (Craig); son, Charles Page; grandchildren, Brandi Barnhill, Tina Johnson, Justin Martin, Amber Martin, and Nicholas Martin; nine great-grandchildren; and his beloved poodle named Pepper.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A military graveside service will be held at a later date.
