Lewis Edward Rhodes age 74 of Cropwell, passed away on Monday July 2, 2018 at his residence. He was a U. S. Army veteran; a graduate of Corner High School, class of 1963; and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Corner.
Funeral services will be Friday July 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Dr. Sammie Reid will officiate. Burial will follow at McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Bernice Rhodes and his very special mother in law, Mama Jean Glover.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Debra Rhodes; daughters, Julie Rhodes Smith (Paul) and Tera Rhodes Bradshaw (Adam); grandchildren, Emily Isbell Lovato (Stephen), Zachary Isbell, Benjamin Isbell and Luke Bradshaw; great children, Valarie Isabella Arnold and Ivy Lovato (due in August); sister, Barbara Watson (Paul); several other relatives and a host of friends.
