Lewis “Andy” Hatcher Jr. age 67, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Thursday March 27, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday March 29, 2014 11 a.m. to 1p.m at Highland Park Baptist Church with the service to follow at 1 p.m. at the Church. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Bro. Ted Vafeas and Brett Pittman.
Survivors include his wife of 48 wonderful years, Helen Hatcher. Sons, Steve Hatcher(Michele), Jason Hatcher(Jennifer ) ,Grandchildren, Lakin Hatcher, Maddie Hatcher, Ben Hatcher, and Sam Hatcher. Brother, Lee Williams (Shelia)
Mr. Hatcher was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church for many years. He retired from Reynolds Metals after 30 years of loyal service, where he was a Gas and Diesel Mechanic. Andy was a successful business owner and past member of Shoals Home Builders Association. He was also a veteran of the United States Army and National Guard for 22 years. Mr. Hatcher was a 32 degree Mason with Masonic Lodge No. 503 where he was a past Master, Scottish Rite, and Cahaba Shriner.
Pallbearers are Phillip Palmer, Wesley Kiser, Larry Guschke, Ronnie Dixon, Leo Stonecipher, and Joe Keenum. Honorary pallbearers are Gerald King, Dr. Ronald McCoy and Lawrence South
