Leonard “Lenny” Vest, Jr., age 68, of Athens died March 2, 2026, at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born May 17, 1957, in Akron, Ohio to Leonard and Betty Ann Vest.
Mr. Vest attended Lebanon Community Church. He is survived by three sisters, Tammy Casteel (Paul) of Athens, Mary Berry (Bud) of Huntsville, and Shari Vest of Nauvoo, Alabama; two brothers, Richard Vest (Phyllis) of Michigan and Gary Vest (Jane) of Harvest, Alabama as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at Ford’s Chapel cemetery officiated by Terry Lamar. The family will have a visitation prior to services at Spry Funeral Home, March 7th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
