Mr. Leon Brewer was born May 6, 1940 in the son of the late William Wayne and Pauline Elizabeth Kephart Brewer. Mr. Brewer worked as an insulator for the Local 78 at TVA Brown’s Ferry. Mr. Brewer departed this life on November 23, 2021 in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 6 Months, 17 Days.
He is survived by his companion, Margaret Haddock of Collinwood, TN; a son, Darren Lee Brewer of Moulton, AL; a step-son, Ricky Haddock of Collinwood, TN; a brother, David Brewer of Collinwood, TN; a sister, Louita Ann Wilson of Michigan; three grandchildren, Emily and Ally Haddock and Heather Crabb. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Kellee, Will and Abbie Crabb.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by a son, Jackie M. Brewer. Three brothers, Louil, James, and Edward Brewer and a sister Mary Ann Brewer. He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Joyce E. Brewer.
Visitation will be held on Friday November 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday November 27, 2021 from 11:30 AM until service time at 1:00 PM all at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood
Services will be held on Saturday November 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Collinwood, with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery at Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors Assisting.
