Lela M. Kellar, 99 of Union Grove passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at her residence. She was born August 9, 1925, in Scottsboro, the daughter of Elmer Southeard and Ruby Watson Southeard. She retired from Blue Bell and was married to William David Kellar, who passed away September 1987.
She is survived by daughter: Doris Kelsey (John); son: Donald Kellar; sisters: Shirley Haswell and Dorothy Fairbanks; brothers: William Southeard and Bobby Southeard; nine grandchildren; host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dave Kellar, daughter: Ann Haynes and a son: Vann Kellar.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Arab Memorial Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
