Lecil Virgil Thomas – Obituary

Lecil Virgil Thomas, age 77, Tuscumbia, Ala., formerly of Bear Creek, Ala. passed away April 28, 2013, at his residence. He attended Friendship Primitive Baptist Church and was a retired owner of a mobile home supply business.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, with Brother Mickey Crane officiating. Burial will follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held noon-2 before the funeral.

He is survived by

Charlotte Ann Goodwin Thomas;

Ricky (Mary) Thomas and Roger Thomas;

sisters,

Edna Mae Self, Betty Commens, Reba Lawler, Carolyn Thomas and Judy Thomas;

grandchildren,

Melissa McWirt, David Berry, Daniel Berry, Alexandra Thomas, Ricky Thomas, Aleah Thomas, Amanda Sherrod, Janey Thomas and Aleysha Thomas;

great-grandchildren,

Amber Grace Hulsey and Gavin Hulsey.

He is preceded in death by

parents, Virgil and Myrtie Mae Thomas;

first wife, Tommie Jane Thomas;

son, Tommy Thomas;

granddaughter, Brandy Thomas.
