Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Makes Drug Trafficking Arrest

LAWRENCE COUNTY-Over the course of several months, Agents with the Lawrence County VICE/Narcotics received multiple complaints regarding drug activity involving James Hill.

On December 3rd 2024, Agents executed a search warrant on Hill’s property located in the Trinity/East Lawrence Area.

During a search of the property, a quantity of Methamphetamine (excess of 50g), Pills, Marijuana, US Currency and drug related paraphernalia, consistent with selling/distribution of illegal drugs, were located.

James Hill was taken into custody without incident. Hill was transported to the Lawrence County Jail where he was booked for the following charges: Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana II, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
