Laura Leigh McDaniel, 49, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at her home. She was born October 1, 1977, to the late Manasco McDaniel and the late Ruby Cribbs Sochia in Columbus, MS. Laura enjoyed traveling and making memories with her family. Her children were the center of her world and the greatest joy in her life. Aside from her children, her dad held the most special place in her heart. Laura was known for her kindness, and she was deeply loved by her family. She will be remembered for the love she shared.
Funeral services will be private, and she will be laid to rest in Millport, AL next her dad.

She is survived by her daughter, Autumn Moudy; sons, Brittan Moudy and Brenden Moudy, all of Bruceton, TN; brothers, Clayton Darin McDaniel, and M.V. McDaniel; sisters, Sherry McDaniel, April Neal, and Crystal Scott, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Manasco McDaniel, and Ruby Sochia.
