Laura J. Congo, 81, of Toney passed away Friday at Crestwood Medical Center.
Preceded in death by her husband James Congo, mother Laura Bell Campbell, father Robert Steele and son Dennis “Jimmy” Congo, sisters Velva Reeves and Dorthey Adams.
Survivors include her daughters Janice Medlock, Melissa Cantrell , Joyce Williams and Donna Baker, sister Thelma Hilbourn, brothers Carol J. Campbell and Roy A. Campbell, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Arrangements are entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10am at the Spry Chapel with interment to follow at Valhalla.
