Carl Rolland Lee – Obituary

Rev. Carl Rolland Lee, age 79, of Huntsville was called home by his Savior. Rev. Lee was born in Madison County to William Lee and Nannie Pearl Morring Lee.

Survivors include his wife Marvoline Carlisle Lee, two special “grandchildren” Maegan and John Hartley, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, sister and a baby daughter.

Rev. Lee was a Baptist minister who preached God’s word for 44 years. Many people were touched through his ministry and came to know the Lord as their Savior as a result.

He was a precious husband to his wife Marvoline for 52 years. He so loved everyone and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Pallbearers will be John Hartley, Dwight Moore, Tim Moore, David White, Waymon Scroggs and Johnny Lee.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Lee, Dewey Slater, Jim Pyles, Scott Stewart, and E.L. Lovelady.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends, Sunday 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Service will be Monday at 1:00 PM in Spry’s Chapel with Bro. Toney Wales, Bro. Brent Hawkins and Bro. Tim Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Pleas Mount Cemetery.
