Larry Sutherland, age76 of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at his home. He was born June 04, 1950 to Lafayette Sutherland and Essie Sutherland Plunkett. Larry loved to be outdoors, and he enjoyed his garden. Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Homes in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Brother Jeff Whitten will officiate. Larry is survived by his daughter, Kasie Frost; grandson, Rusty Frost; sister, Regina Plunkett; brothers, Terry (Renae) Sutherland, Al (Annette) Sutherland and Mark Plunkett; caretaker, Laura Lucus. He is preceded in death by his son, Fabian Sutherland; daughter, Theresa Sutherland; parents, Lafayette and Essie Sutherland; brother, Jerry Sutherland, Michael Sutherland and John Timothy Plunkett.
