Larry Samford Hall, longtime resident of Madison, AL, passed on to his heavenly home on Monday, April 16, 2018. He was born on August 24, 1949, in Montgomery, AL, to the late John Howard Hall and Virgie Mae Matthews Hall. Retired from a long and distinguished career in hotel management, Larry enjoyed his family, his friends, his church and his beloved dog, Maxine. He enjoyed Facebook, Words with Friends, sharing recipes, and yelling “Roll Tide” on big game days!
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia; one son, Jeffrey Alan Hall (Shereen) of Austin, TX, and one granddaughter, Noree, age 3; one brother Tony Hall (Martha Ann) of Pelham, AL, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Reba Hall Woodie; and one brother Forrest Wayne Hall.
Funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018, Madison Free Will Baptist Church, Madison, AL. Graveside service will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens in Madison. The family will greet friends at church on Saturday from 2 pm until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the charity of choice, The Free Will Baptist Children’s Home, or The Alabama Free Will Baptist International Missions.
