Larry Ross, 79, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Born and raised in Jacks
Creek, TN, Larry lived and worked in West Tennessee before moving to Marietta in 2016.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sue Cherry Ross; his son, Brent Ross of Flower Mound, TX, and daughter-in-law Erin; his daughter, Stacey Isonhood of Marietta, GA, and son-in-law Jamie; and his five beloved grandchildren: Alannah Ross, Callista Ross, Declan Ross, James Isonhood, and Anna Isonhood. He also leaves behind his brother, Gene Ross (Carolyn), and four nieces and nephews: Brenda Matthews (Eddie), Debra Gurley (David), Greg Ross (Sherri), and Randy Ross (Patricia).

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Buelah Ross; his brothers Leo, Coy, and W.C. Ross; and nephews Mike, Anthony, and Denny Ross.

Larry dedicated nearly four decades to the propane industry, working for Texgas, Suburban Propane,
Gibson Propane, and Heritage Propane in Jackson and Memphis, TN. He also proudly served his country for 12 years in the Army National Guard.

Larry loved his family and treasured spending time with his loved ones. He especially enjoyed attending his children’s and grandchildren’s activities, always there to cheer them on and show his support. His warmth, kindness, and love for his friends and family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A  funeral service to celebrate Larry’s life will be held at East Cobb Baptist Church, Marietta, GA, on
Friday, January 31, at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.

A graveside service will be held at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery, Luray, TN, on Saturday, February 1, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at Unity Cemetery from 10:30 am to 11:00 am services time at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East Cobb Baptist Church building fund.
