Funeral services for Larry Joe Ridings, age 81, will be held on Saturday February 22, 2025, at 2PM in the chapel of the United Methodist Church, in Trenton, TN. Visitation with the family will be from 11AM until service time at 2PM in the chapel of the United Methodist Church.
Mr. Ridings passed away on February 19, 2025, at his home in Trenton, TN.
Mr. Ridings served in the United States Air Force, he was a member of the United Methodist Church, and he served as the superintendent of Trenton Special School District for over thirty years.
Mr. Ridings is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Marshall and Florence Marie (Moore) Ridings; his son, Joe Scott Ridings; his grandchild, Trystan Bechtel; and his brother George Michael Ridings.
Mr. Ridings is survived by his wife, Ty Anne Ridings; his five children Daniel Ridings and wife Lindsay, of Mt. Juliet, TN, Matthew Ridings, of Shorewood, MN, and Amy Ridings, of Nashville, TN, Torri Bechtel, of Trenton, TN and Taryn Elliott and husband Ben of Kansas City, MO; three siblings, Brenda Ridings, of Trenton, TN, Sarah and husband Ken Gough, and Tom Ridings, all of Springville, TN; thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
