Lance Hunter Milam, 28 of Tuscumbia, passed away on Thursday April 19, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. Hunter attended Covenant Christian School, transferring to Deshler High School his freshman year, graduating in 2008.
Hunter attended the University of Alabama as well as the University of North AL graduating with a BS in 2012. Continuing his education, he moved to Montgomery where he attended the Jones School of Law.
Hunter accepted Christ, was saved, baptized, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia. While living in Montgomery, he attended Church of the Highlands.
Hunter loved Alabama football and left so many treasured memories of time spent with his father travelling to watch the Tide Roll. He also enjoyed fishing, cars, and his cat Rocky but most of all, he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Herbert L Darty; paternal grandmother, Myra Milam; paternal grandfather, Randy Milam; and aunt, Joyce Milam.
Hunter is survived by his parents Tim and Sonia Milam; sisters Nina Wisdom (Harold) and Morgan Milam; nephew, Grant Wisdom; nieces, Ava, Layla, and Mia Wisdom; maternal Grandmother, Anna Darty; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and girlfriend, Emily Gesink.
Pallbearers will be Harold Wisdom, Grant Wisdom, Eric Alligood, Chase Azbell, Blake Ellett, Channing Stanfield, Bryce Graham, and Matthew Harrison. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Darty, David Darty, Jason Ivy, Jessie Milam, and Gage Alligood.
