Lance Cotton went to his heavenly home June 14, 2023 at the age of 62. He was a member of Old Town Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Wilma Cotton.
Lance leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Monty Cotton (Delores); niece, Monica Cotton Kline (Michael); and uncle, Willie Campbell (Polly).
Lance was a special man that was loved by everyone that met him. He will be greatly missed by many but memories of him and his wonderful spirit will never be forgotten.
There will be a graveside service at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 17th at Colbert Memorial Gardens with Bro. Brandon Kirby officiating.
Pallbearers will be Michael Kline, Lyndon Smith, Kenneth Hanvy, Larry Kimbrough, Johnny Riggs, and Heath Hopkins.
The family would like to give special thanks to Doug Fuqua and the team at Tri-Ad Academy for all of their many years of care, support, and friendship.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
