Lalla Ryan, 81, died Monday, December 24, 2012 at The Meadows, Fulton, Ms. She was born March 2, 1931 to Curtis Mancel Garrett and Annie Zell Wilson Garrett. She was a retired factory worker with many years of devoted service. She was a member of Liberty Church of Christ, Dennis, Ms. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 28, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, Ms. with Ron Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Memory Gardens, Belmont, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one brother – James Donald Garrett (Kathrine) Kansas City, Mo.; one sister – Lucille Sparks, Belmont, Ms.; one uncle – Jim Wilson, Booneville, Ms.; step-children – Danny Ryan, Ricky Ryan, Timmy Ryan and Sheila Wilson and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Kenneth Garrett, Tom Garrett and Roy C. “Buck” Garrett and two sisters, Lessie Arene and Ruby Robinson.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday, December 27, at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. and until service time on Friday.
