Bobby G. Moody – Obituary

Bobby G. Moody, 81, died Friday, December 28, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Belmont to Leonard and Eula Crabb Moody. He was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church and Evergreen Park Masonic Lodge #1171 in Evergreen Park, Ill.  He was self-employed and was retired from Armour Pharmaceutical Co. He was a veteran of the US Army.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing and reading.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 30, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Greg Forbus officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his wife of 57 years-Janis Moody of Saltillo; two daughters-Melissa Schellenberger (Alan) and Bobbie Batke (Bill) all of Charleston, Ind.; one brother-W.D. Moody (Jackie); three sisters-Carol Sue Dill, Myra Milam and Cathryn McCafferty (Rev. Edd); Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers-Wynan, Kenneth and Jimmy Moody.

Pallbearers will be his nephews-BJ Moody, Donnie Dill, David Dill, Terry McCafferty, Ronnie McCafferty and Eddie McCafferty.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, December 30, at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.

The family requests that donations be made in his memory to St. Jude.
