LaFonda Cofield Fleming was born November 14, 1930 in Bear Creek, Alabama to Marshal and Lizzie Elva Pike Cofield. She passed away at her residence in Bear Creek, January 15, 2019 at the age of 88. She was a retired school teacher, having served over 30 years and a member of Corinth Heights Baptist Church.
Visitation is Friday, January 18, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service is at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Steve Ledbetter officiating. Burial in Bear Creek No 1 Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mark Cofield, Norman Cofield, Neal Cofield, Michael Burleson, Kim Bates, Mike Cofield.
She is survived by her husband, John Ralton Fleming; sister, Francis Bates; brothers, Pat Cofield and Mike Cofield, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Pike Cofield and John Cofield.
