Mr. L.E. Webb Jr., 77, of Athens, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at his residence.
Funeral will be Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Mike Owens and Gregg Legg officiating, and Albert Haraway will be speaking. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Webb was born Nov. 3, 1938, in Limestone County to Louie E. Webb, Sr. and Cynthia Louise Haraway Webb.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Wendolyn and Paul Black.
Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Mary Amerson Webb; three daughters, Connie Golden and husband, Bruce, of Stockbridge, Georgia, Sharon Wilson and husband, Jim, of Elkmont, and Karen Ezell, of Athens; six grandchildren, Adam Ezell, Savannah Baugher, Justin Wilson, Ethan Wilson, Stephanie Williams and Will Ezell; stepgrandchild, Jason Ezell; three great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Webb and wife, Bonnie, and Freddie Webb and wife, Sandy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shawn, Joel, Ethan, Will, Waylon and Chris.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Amerson, Hubert Amerson, Ricky Amerson, Freddie Webb and Richard Webb.
