L.C. Stewart, 85, of Lexington, AL, passed away September 2, 2024 at his home. L.C. was retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant and also retired from the Lauderdale County School System. He was a Christian and member of the American Legion Post #146. L.C. is survived by: Sons: Donald Stewart (Laura) and Duncan Stewart (Kathy) Step-son: Frank Olney Step-daughters: Sherry Huck (Louie) and Crystal Hastings Grandchildren: Taylor, Tydus, Aaron, Makayla, Madison, Zachary, Alexis, Victoria, Zane Amanda, Carrie, Chelle, Trina, Tasee, and Katie Brother: Thomas Stewart (Betty) Sister: Jean Fulks (Ralph) He was preceded in death by: Parents: Duncan Stewart and Bertha Stewart Wife: Betty Cochran Stewart Son-in-law: Billy Hastings Grandson: Eric Olney Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
