Kimberly April Whitt Hood, 48, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Sunday, September 1, 2024, at her home. She was born April 1, 1976 to Robert Junior Whitt and the late Teresa Pearl Harden Whitt. She worked at Tiffin Motorhomes for 13 years. Kim was a saved woman, and a member of Northside Baptist Church in Fulton. Kim enjoyed the outdoors and loved camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. She also had a love for cooking and baking. Whether it was a new recipe, or a tried and true classic, you were always going to get something delicious at Kim’s house. She had a heart of gold and a passion for helping people in need. Many times, she fixed plates and bought snacks for the CCU waiting rooms and supplies for the families with babies in NICU. She would try to find families to help at Christmas who either couldn’t afford gifts for their children or didn’t have enough to eat. Regardless of the cost, she always found a way to give help when needed and she never wanted any recognition for her good deeds.
Memorial service celebrating Kim’s life will be 2:00 pm on Friday September 6, 2024, in the Senter Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Joseph Jones officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday September 5, 2024, at Senter Funeral Home.
