L.C. Jones, 81, died Tuesday at his residence. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. today at Bonnertown Cemetery in Bonnertown, Tennessee with Tim Anderson officiating. Spry Funeral Home is directing.
Mr. Jones was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Lauderdale County. He was a member of Bonnertown Baptist Church. He was a retired iron worker, member of Sheffield Local No. 477, where he received his 50-year pin. He was preceded in death by wife of 51 years, Jean Jones.
Survivors include sons, Doug Jones (Susan), of New Jersey, and Keith Jones (Maureen), of Elgin Crossroads, Alabama; daughter, Tammy Fisher (Jim), of Florence; grandchildren, Melissa Shupe, Brittney Jones, Ben Fisher, Connor Fisher, and Amy Jones; great-grandson, Caleb Shupe; brother, Hermas Jones, of Athens; and nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by son, Chris Jones, and grandson, Ryan Jones.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
