Funeral service for Kenneth Mason, 70, will be Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Richerson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery (Upshaw). Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Mason died on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born September 5, 1947, in Morgan County to Merel Dayton Mason and Carrie Jones Mason. He was a pipefitter employed by Daniels Construction as a pipefitter prior to his retirement. He enjoyed playing music and singing, fishing, eating good food, but mostly enjoyed playing with his great grandchildren. He was affectionately know as “Papa” and “Big Papa”. He was preceded in death by his parents.
