Kenneth Joe Bell, 73, of Delta, AL passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 in Anniston. A memorial will be held Wednesday, June 11th at 5:00 at the Shinbone Volunteer Fire Department.
Born and raised in Clay County, Ken moved to Michigan in 1974, where he lived and worked in the book printing industry for 34 years. Ken returned to Shinbone Valley in 2008 to live out retirement with family and friends. He was a valuable member of the Shinbone Valley VFD, always stepping up to work their many events. Ken was the Administrator of the Clay Co Baptist Thrift Store in Lineville for 6 years.
Ken leaves behind one brother Merrell C. Bell Jr (Joyce) of Able; niece Monica Tate (Scott) and nephew, Merrell Glynn Bell (Cassondra) of Delta; special great-nephew, Dakota Jones of Delta, special great-niece Macy Bell of Lineville, great-nephews, Zac Tate (Marissa), Austin Tate (Tori), & Emerson Whatley, great-nieces, Alessandra Croker, Eres Croker, and his special little Buddy, great-great-nephew Jasper Croker; and a host of loving cousins!
Proceeded in death by parents M.C. “Cooter” & Corine Bell, and Sister-in-law Laura Yvonne Bell.
